2/14/2023 0 Comments Epson l555 printer review![]() Would like a Canon PIXMA MG8250 but no longer available. I will report again when I get to use one myself. I still use my old Epson 1290 with cheap ink but ISO branded ink and it is still working well with excellent prints. Well it is in stock at PC World and Curry in UK so best to have a look and see for oneself. It has been around for over a year and sold millions in other country so it is a late comer in UK. It has one year warranty or 30,000 prints. The printer ink is extremely robust, economical and simple to be recharged once the ink is exhausted and can print all your wishes with high volume, as a result. Not remarkable in terms of speed but for photo print it is excellent and so is overall cost for manufacturer ink. However, once ink is setup there is no need of this head cleaning with cartridge. I was looking for a colour printer for a friend and 元55 looks good in terms of ink use as a 70ml cost £8 from most retailer. Epson joins the world of the CISS system but you will probably need a Bank loan to refill it with Epson ink Ive been using CISS systems with various Epson printers for years and I don't print many prints per month but my Epson still eats the ink with no chance at all of the ink lasting two yearsĪ bit of a marketing play on words. I recall that Epson recently had an advert in one of the national newspapers regarding the release of these printers with the heading "No Ink replacement necessary for two years" or words to that effect. Not 100% sure, but i think its dye ink, so it will fade in couple years. It won't compete with epson r3000 or r3880, but it is not intended to do so. ![]() Looks like its a 4-ink system so it will be average. Are these any good for photos - or just general office work?
